This week’s morning and evening reading plan in Word and pdf.

This week’s single reading plan for morning or evening in Word and pdf.

If you want to start at the beginning, this is the first 12 months of the children’s Morning and Evening Bible reading plan in Word and pdf.

And here’s the first 12 months of the Morning or Evening Bible reading plan in Word and pdf.

And here’s an explanation of the plan.

I have found these readings very useful for our Sunday School children, using just one passage a day, and modifying some of the questions to provide a simpler fill-in. The take up has not been 100%, especially as most of the children come from unconverted homes, but when the children don’t do it some of the parents help out – what a gospel opportunity!

Having just completed Mark’s gospel, I was hoping that the plan might move to Genesis rather than Exodus. This would be more natural than to do the 2nd book from both Testaments. Can you provide any help on this one or do I just ‘go it alone’?

    yours in the Master’s service,

    Martin Wells

Martin: My reasoning for starting with Exodus was that many are familiar with Genesis. But you’re right, it’s a gap. Probably after Ruth, I’ll go back and do Genesis. And I’ll go back to Matthew once we’ve done some NT epistles.
