Any ideas?Michael: Re the age-inappropriate parts of the Old Testament, there are very few of these, but yes I will probably leave them out of this plan. I do include them in our Family Bible reading, because I have a chance to explain in a way I don’t have in the Bible reading notes.Michael: I’ve read through Genesis and Matthew informally with my children. That’s why I started in Exodus and Mark. I also think that children get through Genesis in their own Bible reading, but rarely get past that into Exodus. So, I thought I should start there. I’ll probably come back to Genesis though.

Thank you much for this resource. I have a question. Is this the first handout you are using with your children, or are there older ones? If it is the first handout, is there a reason you are starting in Exodus, and not in Genesis? Blessings!

Thanks for the download link. Regarding the daily reading for your kids, do you plan to leave out some of the more “illicit” parts of the OT for younger children?
