I’m actually working on an Exegesis of Genesis 3:14-19 at the moment and this has come home even more powerfully than before. However, I thought I would keep the examples to those explicitly named as believers in Hebrews, just so as not to get diverted into a debate over whether Adam and Eve were believers.

Do you not think Adam and Eve were believers? Doesn’t Adam demonstrate faith in God’s promises just like Abraham when he names his wife “Eve” in Genesis 3:20 in light of God’s promise in Genesis 3:15? I know this is not the main point of your post but I am curious as to your thoughts.
