I get your point, but you lost me by basing your blog post on the assumption that: Apple = Good and Google = Bad, when there are many companies today that would choose to be Google over Apple.

Great words! One of the biggest challenges of blooming ministries is harnessing that hopeful growth and focusing on the things that best position us for running (and finishing) the race God has put before us.

I've found that the stronger we are at knowing our identity, the better we are at simplifying (and focusing) the important tasks around us.

These three pointers have helped me:

*Know who you are. Don’t be someone you’re not.
*Know who/what the ministry is. Don’t be something you’re not.
*Get a vision of where you are supposed to be in the near future.

When you have clearly defined who you are and where you’re going, it’s easier to filter through the day-to-day tasks. Simplify your work based on your identity, and you’ll find yourself more effective, more energized, and more eager to wake up each and every morning to accomplish the good work set before you!
