Interesting that you've written about the insurance industry on this particular day David. My hope is that Obamacare will rein in parallel abuses by American healthcare insurers. The whole dynamic of insurance spurs on its providers to wriggle out of payment, just as you discovered - what an unwise way to run healthcare. This is not to say everyone should vote for Obama, but it is to say that Obamacare was an attempt to reform a system badly in need of change. Simply throwing out Obamacare without recognising that would be to fail to see the unhappiness resulting from putting healthcare in the hands of the insurance industry.
