		<description><![CDATA[I think it depends on the preacher and the book, Riley. But in general terms, I think series tend to go on too long. Unless you&#039;re the next Martyn Lloyd-Jones! But remember he preached many of these long series on Friday nights, not Sunday services.]]></description>

When I go &#039;off&#039; a series, my congregation doesn&#039;t mind, but were I to go &#039;topical&#039; or &#039;thematic&#039; for more than about 4–5 Sundays, I&#039;d have quite a few saying, &#039;Thanks for those thoughts; now, when are you going to get back to a book of the bible.&#039; I love my people; they keep me grounded in the Word!]]></description>
