This series has been very insightful and personally helpful. Thank you Dr. Murray.

May I suggest a minor edit? In the section where you say "Sometimes it’s marriage or children that does it. Sometimes it’s trial or suffering. But sometimes it’s simply the sovereign work of God." I thought that last sentence would be more appropriate reading as "But it is always the sovereign work of God."

I am assuming that the marriage, children, trial and suffering are all under the sovereignty (providential) package.

Once again, thank you for this. I have specially bookmarked this series because it is worth re-reading and meditating upon. I need constantly and consistently it. God bless you.

Sorry to hear that Les. I sympathise with your reaction, but I'm sure you know it's not a good place to be. Keep looking and prayerfully ask God to guide you to a church where you can find sound preaching and faithful (though imperfect) Christians.
