This design is incredible! You most certainly know how to keep
a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost...HaHa!) Wonderful job.
I really loved what you had to say, and more than that,
how you presented it. Too cool!

The promise of the deliverer was in Genesis 3:15. See Jonathan Edwards "History of Redemption" for a wonderful exposition of Genesis 3 and it's connection with the sacrifices in Genesis 4.

For sure, the early saints did not understand it as well aas NT believers. But they understood it sufficiently to be saved.

“When Abel came with the offering of blood he was believing God and was looking forward to the provision of a deliverer” "...the sacrificial system in helping Old Testament believers look “through” the animal sacrifices to the ultimate Sacrifice"

I've never understood this concept fully. I can see where the sacrificial system connected the person's sin with blood, through innocent sacrifice. But, where did the promise of a deliverer, an ultimate once-for-all sacrifice, come in? Was it spelled out? Implied? How clearly did the OT saints understand this, especially the very early ones like Abel?
