I lived in a fishbowl, emotionally and mentally. I was “in there,” but I couldn’t express myself and became socially ostracized. As a teen I began with severe depression and then would cycle into severe mania. I was held back in six grade and told I couldn’t learn past this stage. I know Jesus. I don’t have evil spirits. What I have I was born with. I take medications that help keep me balanced, but the side-effects make me want to quit. I’m a writer now, and this has helped me process and grow. I don’t think anyone would want to help me in the way you’re presenting here, because I’m not as socially acceptable as others. I have a child-like faith in God and know that I’m valued by Him. I’m writing my memoir about my struggles and triumphs.
