We lost three of our servicemen last week in Afghanistan too. My heart aches for these young men and women, whose lives are being sacrificed on a weekly basis. Their loss will be felt forever by their mothers, their fathers, their wives and families. They are but names and numbers on one day’s news bulletin, but to their loved ones, they were everything :’(

We pray on … that these young servicemen would especially hear the Gospel and come to know Christ, ‘whom to know is life everlasting’. We pray too that our leaders would be given wisdom and only send our soldiers to fight and to die when absolutely necessary.
