I wonder if you’ve even read any of those books yourself. They are not just a litany of death and destruction, they also contain courage, valor, human dignity, sacrifice, etc. Your summer reading list, I’m sure is interesting and all, but it is a bit unbalanced and lacking in historical perspective. Mohler’s is also lacking balance, but to say yours is a Phil. 4:8 list and his is not is simply false. Stop judging a book list by its cover.
