Jenny - Not sure where you're coming from, but I think there is a fair share of women and men who have been a party to abortions who, even if they believe it is their right, have remorse and guilt associated.

I also think there is a fair share of men and women who do not feel guilty in the least for whatever reasons.

I have a friend who is not a Christian and he helped pay to abort his own baby over 20 years ago and he still feels guilty about it today. He now has 4 other children and I don't believe he'd do it again - just for an example.

There's something even 'darker' than guilt when the Pro-choice supporters were counter-acting the singing of 'Amazing Grace' with shouts of "Hail Satan", as they were in Texas - this according to our newspapers here in Canada.

I know from experience that this was considered a "women's issue" that shouldn't be discussed in conservative Protestant churches. Those who were daring to speak out were condemned not only by some in their own churches but by the those who were judging what they considered a lack of compassion for women in dire circumstances. I was involved in the inception of the first Crisis Pregnancy Centre in Toronto over thirty years ago and many lives have been saved but I do feel that we are 'reaping the whirl-wind" as millions are slaughtered. We have no abortion law in Canada and our professing 'Christian" Prime minister refuses to re-open the issue.

I am more and more convinced that ultimately condemnation must be laid on Preachers who no longer define clearly what sin is and are afraid to teach on the Ten Commandments that state clearly, "Thou shalt not kill".

When counseling pregnant girls I was shocked when those who came from Evangelical churches would say, "If I have an abortion, God will forgive me". Sadly , the 'fear' of a Holy God is gone.
