everyone has different beliefs! Some people believe that there is no God. And some people do. Now the Bible is not a fictional book. It talks about the resurrection. If there was no God no one would speaking in tongues. That is a gift from God! You may not understand what people are saying, but God does understand. When you are speaking in tongues you're basically talking to God. Christian people are not scary they're humans just like you but they have different beliefs than you do.

Dear Jerry, "Scary" is quite some choice of word! Strangely I found as I became a Christian that at last I was in the company of people who really were not scary! Others make excuses for themselves but Christians are those who have owned up to God and to one another which makes them very good company rather than all the pretence of being somebody.

I am not sure how you know there is no God. Just because you have avoided him does not mean he is not there. Maybe that is what you find "scary" but if you come to him for forgiveness through faith Christ who died in place of sinners you will be accepted without question.

As for life on other planets. I am sure if it is there, the first one to find it won't be kept quiet by any Government. They will all be lining up to take the credit!

This is an awesome song, however, christian people are scary. There is no such thing as God and no such place as heaven. Unless you make your every day life your heaven.
With all of the news about life on other planets now and how our government has been hiding this for many years, it is just more proof tht the bible is just a made up fiction book.

My daughter sent me this today. We loved enough to let go of my hubby, her dad, after his suffering - yet we miss him profoundly. I found it interesting that I should find your post on here today as well. After all the questions were asked I wanted the artist to sing about the glory of living in the Presence of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, Lord and Friend. Trust that the Lord will use this time of loss in her life to draw her unto Himself.

I love A.A. Hodges wonderful statement:

“Heaven, as the eternal home
of the divine Man and of all the
redeemed members of the
human race, must necessarily
be thoroughly human in its
structure, conditions and
activities. Its joys and activities
must all be rational, moral,
emotional, voluntary and active.
There must be the exercise of
all the faculties, the gratification
of all tastes, the development of
all talent capacities, the
realization of all ideals. The
reason, the intellectual curiosity,
the imagination, the aesthetic
instincts, the holy affections,
the social affinities, the
inexhaustible resources of
strength and power native to
the human soul must all find in
heaven exercise and satisfaction.
Then there must always be a
goal of endeavor before us, ever
future.” (A.A. Hodge, Evangelical
Theology; quoted in Peter Toon,
Heaven and Hell [Nashville:
Thomas Nelson Publishers,
1986], 158.)
