But that’s not what Christ told Peter. He told him if his brother asks for forgiveness, he was to forgive him. Jesus never told him, “just forgive hm any way even if he thinks he’s done no wrong and even if he keeps doing you wrong.”

Peter asked Christ something very similar, but the response from Christ was if his brother asked for forgiveness, he was to give it. They must ask for it, or what are they forgiven of? They think they have done nothing wrong, and it’s never going to be real forgiveness from you as long as they continue believing they have not wronged you,

That’s right. His death only affects those who believe in him. If people choose not to believe, then his sacrifice is not for them. They are unforgiven

Jesus is talking to corporate Israel in that passage. They crucified Jesus in “ignorance.” Mat 16: 20,22,23; Mark 9:9,10,31,32; Luke 9:45; Luke 18:31-34; John 20:9. Ignorance factor lifted Luke 24:44,45; Acts 3:17; Luke 24:27

The “they” here is corporate Israel not any particular individuals. They crucified Jesus (the Son) in “ignorance.” The “ignorance” factor was removed in the resurrection of Jesus. In the opening chapters of Acts we read Israel had the full witness of the “signs of Jonah” and the power of the Holy Spirit working those miracles through his “little flock” as a testimony to that fact and in their (Israel) rejection at that time they blasphemed the Holy Spirit resulting in the “unpardonable sin.” Remember Jesus told the sins against the Son were forgivable but those committed against the Holy Spirit were unpardonable. In the opening chapters of Acts the “ignorance” factor was removed leaving them (Israel) without excuse. Look up the word “ignorance” in a concordance to get a better understanding of where it was used in the gospels.

Wrong!! Hell is full of forgiven people. It is believers who are in heaven. Un-believers – like the repentant Judas Iscariot (Matt. 27:3-5) – go to hell. Read the 6th chapter of John. The disciples ask the two central questions – the work of God and the will of God. Jesus’ answer was the same. Believe on the one He sent. Believers – not the forgiven – go to heaven. Miss this truth and you will remain in bondage to sin and works.

Exactly!! Judas repented of his treason against Jesus, but he went to hell. Read Matthew 27:3-5. Repentance is not the dictionary or psychologist’s definition, but rather the Biblical definition – simply to change one’s mind about something. God repented around 40 times in the Old Testament (KJV), but to support their false doctrine, the NIV removed all of those references to God repenting.
