I did the “good person” challenge to a bunch of unbelievers last night. When I asked them if they had ever lied, stolen, looked at a woman with lust in their hearts, used God’s name in vain, coveted, disobeyed their parents, etc, their mouths dropped. After proclaiming themselves to be a good person, they immediately recognized after the test that they fall way short of God’s standards. At that point, I give them a cure to their illness by sharing the gospel and the grace and mercy of Christ.
