		<description><![CDATA[Thank you for these great posts. I haven&#039;t quite had the stomach to pick up this book, but I can see the value pastorally of occasionally wading into of books that have such outsize influence but are otherwise not worth taking seriously.

May I suggest however that Osteen&#039;s statement, &quot;He wants to increase you in His wisdom and help you to make better decisions&quot; should in fact be placed in the *true* category. Certainly this is the general tone of the Proverbs, for instance, as well as of specific exhortations such as James 1:5 &amp; 1 Kings 3:9ff.
