Yes, sadly, a believer can fall into these lies too. And yes, a Christian can fall into addiction. However, the Christian will hate the sin, long for deliverance, use the means God has provided, and will usually experience deliverance.

Pastor Murray, a believer can fall into these same lies too, right? Can a true Christian be “addicted” to any of the things you stated in your article?

Thank you for posting this article. I started working through Welch’s book but never finished. It’s hard without someone to be accountable with. The same is true with his book on depression. It’s all very good but I wish I knew someone to share it with.
