I would lovingly challenge that statement by saying that Christians are saints, not sinners. I realize this is a debated topic but I challenge people to look up the definition of a sinner in the old dictionaries, as well as the Greek and Hebrew. It means, &quot;one who is enslaved to sin&quot;. Even John MacArthur in his Study Bible says in commenting on James 4:8 that the term &quot;sinner&quot; is used only for unbelievers. I would encourage a thorough study of this topic and reexamination. Also, Charles Leiter&#039;s book (forward by Paul Washer) is another excellent resource that takes this position.
