I go to Scripture and simply read and mediatate upon the love of God in Jesus. Passages like Isaiah 53, or of Barabbas being set free do great wonders for my encouragement. And I don’t read to “get anything out of it” for me. I just read to focus on Jesus. And I read just because I want to be close to Him. May God use them to give you life that you seek.

I’m frustrated in prayer and it seems so empty when I pray. I want to be born again but begging and pleading has been exhausting and fruitless. I dread praying now because it’s so frustrating and empty.
