In a recent Instagram post, Tallulah Willis described her struggles with body dysmorphic disorder. She said she used to punish herself for resembling her dad Bruce Willis instead of looking like her mom Demi Moore.

Body dysmorphic disorder is a mental illness involving obsessive focus on a perceived flaw in appearance. The person often spends hours a day trying to fix a minor or imagined flaw with cosmetics, exercise, and so on, and it’s often accompanied by debilitating anxiety, embarrassment, and social isolation.
