From time to time I’ll be sharing some longer stories about people who have met the StoryChanger in special ways.
Today’s guest storyteller is Ryan Burgess whom we all know as Homer. He and his lovely family are members at First Byron CRC. Homer is a diesel mechanic in the trucking industry, but has also been sensing God’s call to write another chapter in his story called Finding Freedom Ranch, a non-profit that he’s established to help young women with eating disorders. Their mission is ‘Healing the Heart of Eating Disorder with the Mind of Christ.”
As you’ll hear in this podcast, Homer’s family story was radically changed by one of their daughters suffering anorexia nervosa. But God is using that story of suffering to write other stories of healing. I’ll let Homer tell you the rest.
